Warranty & Returns Policy


If you wish to return your Gracebag, simply send us an email within 14 days of receiving your Gracebag to info@mygracebag.com (Clearly write “Return” in the subject line) and we’ll help you along the way.

Key things to keep in mind when returning your Gracebag:

  • Your Gracebag must be returned in its original packaging and with no signs of use within 14 calendar days of sending the e-mail to info@mygracebag.com stating your wish to return
  • we do not assume liability for loss or damage occurred during the shipment of the returned Gracebag.
  • Upon the reception of the product and after evaluating its condition, the amount you paid (minus 10% handle fees) will be credited using the same payment method.
  • To complete the return we require a receipt of purchase.
  • Only your Gracebag that were bought and that are still in the original packaging will be eligible for a warranty claim. Proof of purchase is required on all returns.
  • The cost of return is for the client and we will not refund any transport costs. Note that the warranty only applies to manufacturer defects. If the bags were tampered with, or used for other purposes, the warranty is void.


You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us by sending an e-mail to info@mygracebag.com of your decision to withdraw from this purchase by an unequivocal statement. Please clearly write “Withdrawal request” in the subject line.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.


If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you (minus 10% handling fees), excluding the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event not later than 7 days from the day we received your Gracebag back in good order. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the address “Gracebag (Pty) Ltd, Shop 8A, The Woodmill, Vredenburg Road, Stellenbosch, 7600”, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 calendar days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 calendar days has expired.

We can arrange for our Courier Delivery Services to pick the goods up at your shipping address, with an associated cost of R150.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Every Gracebag is handcrafted and goes through an intensive quality control process. Should your Gracebag for some reason have a workmanship defect, please let us know immediately. We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. You can exchange it for the same item. Please send us an email at info@mygracebag.com and send your item back within 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquired your Gracebag. You can return the item to:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.


We want you to be happy with your Gracebag. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we’ll either exchange or replace it, or credit your account.

  1.  Returns within 14 days

You can return your purchase within 14 days of purchase.  We want to make your online shopping experience hassle-free and fun.

To return an unwanted non-defective product, it must be:

  1. Returned within 14 days of the product(s) being purchased
  2. Undamaged and unused
  3. In the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition

You will have to carry the cost of returning the product to us.

Once we have received your returned product and it has been cleared by Gracebag's After Sales Service, your account will be credited.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if products have been used, are returned damaged, or not in a saleable condition.

  1.  Returning defective or damaged products

If your Gracebag has a workmanship default, you have to:

  1. Call our support team on 0825762985 and describe the problem to them, or
  2. Send an email to info@mygracebag.com, with
    1. a full description (pictures if available) of your problem, and
    2. Proof of Purchase


Gracebag Product Warranty

Warranty Exclusions:

We do not warrant products against normal wear and tearunauthorized modifications or alterations, improper use, improper maintenance, accident, misuse, negligence.  Except for expressly stated in this Warranty, we shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or other types of damages arising out of, or resulting from the use of Product.  This Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Charges and refunds policy

If you return a defective Gracebag to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with the product, we are entitled to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and only to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item.

Note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT or Cash will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
